How to Delete a Message in Hotmail?
The process of deleting a message is truly simple. What you have to do is log in with your account. Once inside you will find yourself in the main input tray.
To erase a message what you have to do is move the arrow of your mouse since you will need two clicks to erase it. In the first instance, you must click on the small empty square located to the left of the email you want to delete.
If you have doubts about whether you have selected it correctly, this square will go from being empty to containing a tick inside it. In addition, you can see that the line of the message you marked automatically will have a blue shading.
If you do not understand what I am talking about, a message that was correctly selected will be observed as in the example image located at the beginning of this tutorial.
Now that you have selected the message you have to proceed to delete it. To do this you have to observe a row shaded with blue that has different options. This row is called the taskbar. Among the options that appear in this taskbar, you have to click on the one with the name of ‘Delete’. If you have difficulty locating it, in the example image of this article said the option is marked with green color.
When you find the aforementioned option, click on it.
If you got here it means that you have deleted the message correctly. But if you want to erase all messages from Hotmail, there is a method that allows us to delete several messages simultaneously, saving us the work of having to repeat the procedure manually for each email.
To delete all the messages in your inbox, you have to observe the column of empty squares that is to the left of the titles of the emails. When you find it you have to click on the empty square that is located at the top of this column. You can see how automatically all emails were selected. Now to empty your inbox you have to click where it says ‘Delete’, just like when you erased a message individually.
If you performed all the previous steps in the correct way, you will have eliminated all the emails in a perfect way and you will be able to enjoy a clean and pleasant in-sight tray.
